Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that she may have auditioned for a part in Four Weddings And A Funeral.
The Sex And The City star appears with Hugh Grant in upcoming romantic comedy Did You Hear About The Morgans?.
Parker told Parade: “I think I remember auditioning to co-star with Hugh in Four Weddings And A Funeral. I think I did.
“I know I screen-tested for Nine Months. Of course, I didn’t get either. I have wanted to play opposite him in a romantic comedy for basically as long as Americans, especially women, have known and loved Hugh Grant.”
Of her on-screen kiss with Grant, she added: “I didn’t make any demands in terms of the interpersonal connecting of body parts.
“I just did what I was told by the director. But, every time I kissed Hugh, I told him I was doing it for America.”

Mark Wahlberg has revealed more details on his plans to turn Entourage into a movie.
The executive producer, who recently hinted that a movie could be in the works, has insisted that the HBO television series will most likely transition to the big screen “after a couple more seasons”, STV reports.
Wahlberg said: “Quite possibly, yes. We still have a couple more seasons to do, but yeah. We’d like to follow in the Sex And The City footsteps and do a movie.
“People have always complained that the episodes are too short. And that the seasons aren’t long enough, and they want more.”
The 38-year-old claimed that he has been forbidden to suggest possible storylines.
He added: “I can’t tell you which storylines we’d leave unresolved. I’m sworn to secrecy. There are so many different directions to go.”

Roland Emmerich’s apparently limitless appetite for gigantic effects-driven B-movies continues unabated with the disaster epic to end all disaster epics, a deliriously ludicrous, guilty pleasure of a blockbuster in which the end of the world is turned into a two-and-a-half-hour rollercoaster ride. Echoing virtually every disaster movie ever made from Earthquake and The Poseidon Adventure to Deep Impact, Volcano, The Core and Emmerich’s own The Day After Tomorrow, 2012 is shamelessly derivative but no less diverting for it.
Gigantic returns are assured for Sony Pictures which financed the film in return for worldwide distribution rights. The Day After Tomorrow grossed $187m in domestic and $357m internationally and 2012 should do similar business, especially once the intriguing plot twists about who will survive Emmerich’s apocalypse come into the public domain..
You’ve got to hand it to Emmerich, a showman whose passion to create spectacle recalls Griffith or DeMille. The scale of 2012 is awe-inspiring even while many of the thousands of effects shots are old-fashioned and often cheesy. But if he’s not a perfectionist along Cameron lines, he knows how to dazzle mass audiences with images and concepts (leaving aside his pedestrian characters and soapy human stories). READ MORE

Colin Firth has reportedly claimed that he likes the idea of filming a third Bridget Jones movie.
The actor starred as Bridget’s (Renee Zellwegger) love interest Mark Darcy in the original film and its sequel, based on the novels by Helen Fielding.
Recent reports have suggested that Working Title is considering a third installment, possibly inspired by Fielding’s newspaper columns.
Speaking to Moviefone, he said: “I only know what you know. That might not be believable to you, but I honestly don’t know. I’m not in regular touch with the Working Title people.
“I don’t see why not! I think it would be well worth having a go. I like the idea in some ways now because I think enough time has gone by, we’re not just sort of trailing the other two. We’ve all grown a little older, I think there’s more fun to be had with that. I’m not adverse to the idea.”
When asked if he would return, he replied: “Yeah, it depends. Good script – yes. Bad script – no.”
Zellweger played down speculation about the film earlier this year, insisting that she had not heard anything about a third project.

Charges have been dropped against a woman accused with taping parts of New Moon at a US cinema.
Cook County prosecutors in Chicago said that they won’t pursue charges against 22-year-old Samantha Tumpach, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
She was arrested at a theatre in Rosemont, Chicago on November 28 after allegedly videotaping three minutes of the Twilight sequel.
Tumpach claimed that she was taping her sister’s birthday celebration at the cinema, which included film previews, adverts and a couple of short movie scenes. She insisted that it was “never her intention” to pirate the film.
New Moon director Chris Weitz recently defended Tumpach, saying, “There is, needless to say, a difference between trying to protect the copyright of a film and making an unfair example of someone who clearly seems not to have any intentions towards video piracy.”

I enjoyed the first Twilight and if I’m being honest, I was rather excited about New Moon coming out. I had my tickets booked for the midnight show on the day of release. I spent two hours in a Que and then a further 25 minutes with trailers and adverts before the movie actually began. I found myself becoming rather bored throughout the movie and found myself asking why the hell i was there at midnight watching it? Don’t get me wrong, There was some exciting bits to the film but other than that, it was a bit like watching paint dry.
The die-hard Twilight fans and for the girls and possibly guys who love Robert Pattinson will probably love this movie and think its the best thing since slice bread. If your not a big fan of Twilight and are thinking of going along to the cinema to watch it, Think again. If your Girlfriend tries to drag you along with her, tell her you’d rather do some painting.
I’d rate New Moon 6/10

Twilight fans have reportedly been banned from kissing a cardboard cutout of Robert Pattinson for fear that they may spread swine flu.
An life-size image of Pattinson, who plays Edward Cullen in the saga, has been attracting lustful attention from film followers at the Reel cinema in Crewe.
The Sunday Telegraph reports that employees have now placed a notice on the cutout which reads: “Please help reduce the spread of germs by refraining from giving Edward, or any other character for that matter, a kiss or a hug.”
Reel Cinemas managing director Kailash Suri said that New Moon was sold out for the first week, adding: “The girls were coming in and having their pictures taken. They were getting a bit carried away and in the nicest possible way we said, ‘Don’t kiss him’.”

Sarah Jessica Parker has apparently revealed that she is struggling to balance being a new mum with the hectic Sex And The City 2 filming schedule.
The actress admitted that she has “enormous regrets” about agreeing to be in the sequel just two months after twins Tabitha and Marion were born to a surrogate”It’s been amazing but complicated because of my current work schedule, which I have enormous regrets about. One [twin] would prefer to be held 24 hours a day, and the other is already suffering from type-A [demanding personality] issues,” Parker told Glamour.
“It is the eternal conflict of every working woman. I’ve done this to myself. I have a wonderful, wonderful nanny who allows me to be a working person. The great challenge for me is to be all things to all people – I want to be a great mother, and I want to feel good when I’m at work. But it is hard.
The 44-year-old, who also has a 7-year-old son James with her husband Matthew Broderick, added that she can’t complain about her busy life. “We didn’t plan on having two, but were doubly blessed, and it’s been just wonderful,” she said.

Drew Barrymore has revealed that she connected to Robert De Niro.
Access Hollywood reports that Barrymore, who plays De Niro’s daughter in upcoming film Everybody’s Fine, worked hard to make their characters’ relationship believable.
She joked that she had nicknamed him “Daddy D” and explained that they had spent a lot of time together.”I was very tactile with him,” she said. “We had meals together… I was always grabbing his hand or his arm, just being silly with him. I just thought that gave us a connection.”
Barrymore added that she is proud that the film provokes such a strong reaction in the audience.
“I’m so glad to be part of something that’s such an emotional journey,” she said. “All my friends, they’re crying at the end.”
